Windows, Mac and an existing installation
Our Professional Plus offer is a Windows edition. Its key does not activate a native macOS installation. For Mac, choose a compatible product. Check your current Office edition under File → Account and back up documents and Outlook data before making changes. Do not remove an existing subscription without checking what you still need.
Updates and product lifetime
The one-time purchase has no recurring subscription fee for this version. That does not mean unlimited updates: Microsoft lists 9 October 2029 as the support end date for Office LTSC 2024. Future major versions are not automatically part of your purchase.
