Keycento is a brand of iQPrinceps UG (haftungsbeschränkt). We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Terms and Conditions

Translation for information. In case of discrepancies the German version prevails.

1. Scope and seller

These terms apply to all orders placed on keycento.com between iQPrinceps UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Hegenweg 15, 53783 Eitorf, Germany (“we”) and our customers.

2. Subject matter

We sell product keys / licence keys for software as digital content without a physical medium. Scope (number of devices, term, edition, system requirements) is stated in the product description. You download the software itself from the sources indicated.

3. Conclusion of contract

Product listings are not a binding offer. By clicking “Order with obligation to pay” you submit a binding offer and are redirected to PayPal. The contract is concluded when you complete payment at PayPal and we receive the payment confirmation; you receive the order confirmation on the order page and by email. Contract languages: German, English, Italian, Spanish and French.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are final prices in euros including statutory VAT. There are no shipping costs. Payment is made via PayPal (including credit or debit card via PayPal). You receive the invoice by email.

4a. Coupons and referral codes

Campaign, referral and personal coupon codes give the stated percentage off the goods value. They do not apply to Microsoft products, cannot be combined, are not redeemable for cash and can be used once per email address. Referral codes are valid for the referred person's first order only and cannot be used by their owner. For every order placed with their code, the referrer receives a personal 10% coupon after delivery.

5. Delivery

After payment, the key is shown on the order page and sent by email, usually within minutes. If delivery is delayed, we inform you by email. If an item is unavailable despite the stock indication, we refund any payment without delay.

6. Rights of use

Use of the software is governed by the respective manufacturer's licence terms. A key may only be used within the scope described (number of devices, term).

7. Warranty

Statutory warranty rights apply. If a key cannot be activated, please contact support@keycento.com; we help with activation and replace a defective key.

8. Liability

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under product liability law. For slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.

9. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory provisions of the country of their habitual residence.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. It is sufficient to send your communication before the withdrawal period expires.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day we are informed of your withdrawal, using the same means of payment you used, at no cost to you.

Expiry of the right of withdrawal

For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal expires once we have begun performance after you expressly consented to performance beginning before the end of the withdrawal period, acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and we provided you with a confirmation of the contract.

Privacy policy

1. Controller

2. Orders

To process your order we process your email address, name, country and – if provided – company and address, as well as order data. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract) and (c) (statutory retention obligations). Data are stored in our ERP system (Odoo, operated on our own servers in Germany) and deleted after statutory retention periods (up to ten years). To document your consent to early delivery we store the time and IP address of the order.

3. Payment

Payments are processed by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22–24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. We transmit order number, amount and items to PayPal. PayPal's privacy notice also applies.

4. Email and contact form

We process enquiries via the contact form or email in order to answer them (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Emails are sent via our own mail server in Germany.

4a. Reviews

After delivery we invite you by email to review your purchase. Only buyers can review, via a personal link. We publish stars, comment, the display name you choose and your country; all reviews are published, including critical ones. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and § 7(3) German Unfair Competition Act (UWG).

4b. Information on similar products (existing customers)

As a customer you receive emails about similar products, in particular a reminder before a time-limited licence expires (§ 7(3) UWG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to us, at no cost other than standard transmission costs.

4c. Newsletter

You only receive the newsletter if you subscribed and confirmed via the link in our confirmation email (double opt-in, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We store time and IP address of subscription and confirmation as proof. Unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

4d. Coupons and referrals

To redeem coupon codes we store which code was used with which email address. Referrers are not told who bought; they only receive their coupon.

5. Server logs and cookies

Our web server stores technically necessary access data (IP address, time, page, browser) for at most 14 days for operational security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We only use technically necessary cookies: a session cookie for cart and order and a cookie for the selected language. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR) and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact info@keycento.com.
